Fighting Vandalism and Theft

The sight of vandalized vending machines, with shattered glass, stolen products, and plundered cash systems, has unfortunately become all too familiar in recent times. These incidents pose a significant challenge to machine operators and owners, as well as casting a shadow on the reputation of automated retail solutions and the industry as a whole.

Triple-Layer Tempered Glass

Our vending machines now feature triple-layer tempered glass, designed to withstand acts of vandalism. Ordinary attempts at breakage prove futile. Of course, when faced with more extreme forms of vandalism involving heavy tools, it’s another story. For these situations, we have an even more robust solution.

Reinforced Security Plan

With this plan, an additional iron frame is installed in front of the glass door, offering enhanced protection. It serves multiple purposes: deterrence, protection, and extended response time. Would-be saboteurs, especially those under the influence, are reminded that these machines are not easily tampered with. The added iron frame provides physical protection, enabling the machine to endure more severe attempts at damage. Even if vandals violently attack the machine, the presence of the iron frame limits their impact. It buys valuable time for alerts and potential intervention.

Anti-Theft Design

TCN’s cash drawers incorporate anti-theft measures. The cashbox can only be accessed through the machine’s main door, even if the glass door is shattered. Moreover, a special key is required to open the cashbox. This multi-layered security makes it exceedingly challenging for unauthorized access, ensuring the financial security of machine operators.

Customized Violence Alerts

The machines are equipped with a feature that responds to violent attacks and theft. In such situations, the machine will sound a loud alarm and instantly notify the operator of the ongoing attack, offering real-time status updates. This feature not only safeguards the machine but also mitigates potential losses for the operator.

TCN’s commitment to security is not merely an upgrade but a proactive step toward ensuring the safety and trust of vending machine operators and the continued success of the industry. If you’ve come across cases of vandalized vending machines, we encourage you to share them with us. This invaluable input allows us to continually improve our machines’ protective measures.
